Rincon Hill Dog Park 15th Anniversary | Glow in the Park Play Date San Francisco

Rincon Hill Dog Park is celebrating its 15th anniversary in San Francisco, and we’re excited to kick off the year by bringing neighbors together.

Hi dog lovers,

Originally opened in 2011 at the foot of the Bay Bridge, the park has grown into a place where dogs play, neighbors connect, and community happens.

🎉 Glow in the Park: 15th Anniversary Play Date

Tuesday, February 17, 2026
5:30–7:00 pm
Rincon Hill Dog Park

To celebrate, we’re hosting a casual, drop-in “Glow in the Park” play date. There’s no program and no formal setup — just an easy evening at the dog park with neighbors and pups.

We’ll have glow balls, bandanas, and LED collar lights available for dogs while supplies last. Feel free to bring a drink if you’d like (BYOD), stop by for a few minutes or stay awhile — whatever works for you and your dog.

A Simple Way to Gather

For many years, the park hosted monthly Yappy Hours. Going forward, we’re excited to try low-key community play dates that make it easier for people to show up and spend time together — without the heavy lift.

Thank You to Our Donors 💚

We’re deeply grateful to everyone who supported Rincon Hill Dog Park throughout 2025. Your donations help keep the park clean, safe, and welcoming.

501(c)(3) donation acknowledgment emails will be sent out shortly. If you’re able to support the park, monthly donations are especially helpful and make a big difference.

A few years ago, park-goers voted to support the park through donations so we could hire regular cleaning and maintenance rather than organizing volunteer cleanups — and that’s the model we continue to follow today.

With Gratitude

We’d also like to thank DPW for assisting with park cleanup today, and to recognize Demarele Turner, our former park cleaner, who recently completed the GEO Reentry program at 111 Taylor Street. We’ll miss him and wish him all the best as he moves on to new opportunities.

Thank you for being part of this community. We hope to see you — and your glowing pups — on February 17.

Woofs ‘n wags,

The Volunteer Team
