Greetings!
We are excited to invite you to a special Public Safety Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, June 6th, 2023, from 6:00 – 7:00 pm at MoMo’s, located at 760 2nd Street.
This Town Hall is a valuable opportunity to connect directly with our local public safety agencies and understand more about their operations. The event will feature overviews of our 311 departments, SF Safe, and the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD). We will be presented with an insight into their operations, their services, and how they contribute to maintaining the safety and well-being of our community.
But the engagement doesn’t stop there! In addition to these overviews, attendees will have the unique opportunity to participate in a tabletop exercise titled “Contacting the Appropriate Agency and How to Communicate.” This exercise is designed to help us all navigate the sometimes confusing landscape of public safety agencies and ensure we know exactly who to call and how to communicate effectively when the need arises.
Being informed is one of the critical steps to creating a safer community for all of us, including our furry friends who enjoy the Rincon Hill Dog Park. This meeting is about hearing from the agencies and fostering a dialogue that includes every voice in our community.
So please join us at this essential gathering. Let’s work together to ensure our neighborhood remains a safe, welcoming, and friendly place for everyone. See you there!
Woofs ‘n wags,
The Volunteer Team
