I hope this message finds you well. We’d like to remind everyone that October 30th is the last day to cast your vote on how we can ensure the future of our beloved Rincon Hill Dog Park.

As many of you know, our park is a cherished community asset, but it’s currently facing a critical challenge. Despite the warm gatherings and joyful moments we’ve shared here, it’s essential to recognize that the park relies on our collective efforts for maintenance and operation, as it receives no city funding.

Here’s the situation in a nutshell:
While we all love the park, we’re running low on resources. We’ve thrown fantastic parties, and the park has seen its fair share of activity, but when it comes to cleanup and maintenance, we need more hands on deck. Currently, only four dedicated volunteers are shouldering this responsibility, and we’re falling short of the monthly donation target needed to sustain the park.

What Can We Do?
We have two viable options to keep our park open:

Financial Support: We can implement a monthly contribution system where visitors are kindly asked to contribute to cover the ongoing cleaning expenses.
OR

Hands-On Cleanup: We can encourage visitors to participate in short 20-minute cleaning sessions every three months to help maintain the park collectively.
