I know, I know, two volunteer events in one weekend! But what can we say? We just received word that there’s a D6 Community Clean Team event happening and they want to focus on OUR PARK!
Come show your love on Saturday, Aug. 18 between 9:30 am and noon! Bring you and your dog – all supplies will be provided. Volunteers will be pouring in from across SF to help us with planting trees, weeding, picking up trash, and more. You will receive a free Rincon Hill Dog Park Volunteer t-shirt for showing up. We hope you and your dog can come join this event and meet your neighbors. If you can join, please RSVP to volunteer@sfdpw.org

In addition to the Community Clean Team event, we will also be hosting a Gigantic 3 (G3) recycling event!
This is a great opportunity to do household cleaning! District 6 & District 2 residents have a great chance to remove unwanted clutter around the home with the reassurance that the castoffs will be recycled, refurbished or disposed of properly and work towards the City’s goal of zero waste by 2020!
The Gigantic 3 Recycling event will take place in District 6 & District 2 on Saturday, August 18, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. Co-hosted by San Francisco Public Works, SF Clean City Coalition and Recology, residents can drop off bulky items for landfill, recycling and composting at a site close to their home.
G3 Sites on August 18, 2018:
District 6: Golden Gate Disposal and Recycling, 900 Seventh Street
District 2: Marina Green East Parking Lot, Marina Boulevard at Webster Street
To take advantage of this free program, residents are asked to call Recology before 12:00 noon on Friday, August 17th at (415) 330-1300 to set up an appointment for drop-off in their district location.
All best,
Julia
