The folks from Loyal reached out to us to see if any of the dogs in our community would like to participate in an aging study. Cellular Longevity Inc, dba Loyal is working to develop therapies that treat the underlying causes of aging in dogs.

If interested, reach out to Kaitlyn who is part of the team at Loyal. She is running the Healthspan Study observational study (no drug or intervention) in veterinary clinics and institutions across the nation to better understand the differences between small dog and large dog aging.
The study is non-interventional, involving only routine veterinary procedures (exam and blood draw) and would provide a free wellness exam plus full lab work (CBC, Chem, total T4, urinalysis) to participants, plus a gift box.
They are looking to recruit dogs less than 25lbs or more than 50lbs, between 2-5 years or more than 7 years old. Because their study is an aging study, they require accurate records for the year of birth.
Kaitlyn may be reached at 513-500-2515 or kaitlyn@loyalfordogs.com
